About Me
Growing Up, I have been Fascinated by All Things Energy
I come from Aboagyir, a village without electricity and I have seen firsthand how energy problems are connected to questions of development, an issue that drives my research interests. Because of the lack of electricity, farmers are unable to preserve their foodstuffs. Hence, their farm produce is sold at abysmally low prices. The youth who could be a wheel for development also migrate to seek greener pastures in the cities leaving the village in a development standstill. It is this interesting connection between my life in an African village without electricity and my goal of contributing to the development of my community that have inspired my research interest inspired me to seek advanced knowledge in Energy to enact changes in my community.
Ultimately, I hope to make a career as an Engineer in the Energy Industry.
